Destination: Tanzania & Kenya....and USA

The day has finally arrived ; this afternoon we will load onto a bus in CTK parking lot, head to the airport, load onto the plane late this evening and fly to Africa. It's funny I would have expected to be nervous at this point - usually I can't sleep the night before we are heading out on any type of trip. I am filled with peace and I know the rest of our family is too. Thank you so much for the prayers for our team as we head out. We feel so blessed to have so many friends and family lifting up this Mission Trip in prayer. We are so excited to see and do all there is waiting for us.

Elissa is also jumping on a plane today on her way home from Australia. She will arrive in Seattle Sunday afternoon. If you happen to see her give her a HUGE hug for us okay? Tell her it is from her Dad and Mom.

We will try to keep posting so check back!

Love to you all!

I was so bummed that I missed you. today just flew by and it was 3pm when I thought it was noon. I had meant to stop by and see you off. I know you must have been crazy busy getting everything ready for Africa...but I was hoping to send you all off with one last hug. Well Big Sis you are in my prayers. I know you will bless and be blessed beyond your wildest imaginations. May God use you all mightly over the next three weeks.

We were at camp when you left but would like to leave you these verses for encouragement. Hebrews 10:22-24 "Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." and again the beginning of Acts 26:22 "But I have had God's help to this very day..." As you said He is strong when we are weak and we spent the week at camp seeing God manage tasks that I felt we did not have the resources to manage. I am sure you will experience so much of God's power through you in Africa. Love, Corrie
